Today, Interair is a fully paid up member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and operates scheduled passenger services to nine countries on the African continent and in the Indian Ocean. It plans to increase its services to a total of 15 destinations during 2001/2002.

In particular, Interair has recently carved a niche as a regional carrier connecting French-speaking African countries, a growing market that has been under served for many years.

The airline's current routes are: Ndola, Zambia; Entebbe, Uganda; St Denis, Réunion Island; Antananarivo, Madagascar; Mahe, Seychelles;Libreville, Gabon; Douala, Cameroon; Brazzaville, Congo; and Moroni, Comoros.
Interair has code-sharing agreements with Air Madagascar, Air Austral and Air Gabon, on certain routes that it shares, and it is looking
forward to increasing co-operation with other African airlines, such as Air Afrique and Cameroon Airlines. The routes it is planning to serve are: Lomé, Togo; Cotonou, Benin; Bamako, Mali; Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire; Nairobi, Kenya, and Larnaca, Cyprus. 'We are working to expand our presence in francophone Africa," says Tokoph.
