INTERAIR SOUTH AFRICA, the privately-owned regional airline based in Johannesburg, has enjoyed a new lease of life since David P. Tokoph, its Executive Chairman, took over the helm in August, 1997. 

Earlier that month, the financially-troubled airline had ceased operations and  been placed in the hands of a liquidator.
